Research experience before PiN: Worked on visual navigation in Drosophila (Sung Soo Kim Lab, UCSB). Studied odor-driven behavioral plasticity and mushroom body dynamics (Elizabeth J. Hong Lab, Caltech).
Current research interests: I’m interested in uncovering shared mechanisms by which brains implement flexible behavior, internal states, and sensory processing through circuit motifs, molecular pathways, and genetic programs.
Interests outside lab: jazz, guitar, climbing, video games, build small electronic projects, swimming, cats
