Research experience before PiN: I completed my master’s thesis and subsequently worked as an assistant specialist in Dr. Graeme Davis’s lab at the University of California, San Francisco, where I studied the molecular mechanisms underlying presynaptic homeostatic plasticity in cultured rodent hippocampal neurons.
Current research interests: Cellular, molecular, and systems neuroscience; tool development
Interests outside lab: Cooking, reading, and running
