Research experience before PiN: Research technician in Engle lab (Boston Children's Hospital/HMS); studied the functional role of mutations associated with oculomotor, craniofacial and cerebrovascular pathologies in mouse, fish and cell models.

Current research interests: Circadian biology, phase separation, mechanisms controlling neuronal local translation, synaptic transmission, sleep disorders

Interests outside lab / favorite hangouts: Interests: hiking and backpacking in the White Mts, yoga, playing classical piano, cooking, weightlifting, reading, fermenting! Favorite spots in Boston: Nightshift Brewery, the Esplanade, Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, Red Room Cafe
