Research experience before PiN: Before PiN I worked in the labs of Dr. Cristina Alberini, Dr. Christos Constantinidis, and Dr. Wayne Silver. I studied how early life experiences generate memory schemas which influence adult behaviors, the changes in working memory and inhibitory control ability and the neurophysiological changes that occur between the time of puberty and adulthood using macaques, the divergent evolution of brain lobes across mammalian species using multilevel atlas comparison, and performed a transcriptomic analysis of Eisenia hortensis neuropeptides and investigated their modulatory effects. 

Current research interests: I am currently interested in the mechanisms underlying critical periods and experience dependent plasticity, neurodevelopment, synaptic plasticity, learning and memory

Interests outside lab / favorite hangouts: Outside lab, I enjoy cooking, listening to music, reading, and skiing.
