Research experience before PiN: I studied retinal prosthesis with Dr. Jiayi Zhang (Fudan University) and how the auditory midbrain encodes behaviorally relevant sounds with Dr. Pierre Apostolides (UMich).
Current research interests: ethological behaviors and underlying neural implementations, systems neuroscience, sensory processing.
Interests outside lab: cat sitting, cooking/baking, board games, running.
