Research experience before PiN: Characterized visceral mechanosensitive neurons innervating the mouse gastrointestinal tract (Dr. Rachel Wolfson, HMS); investigated fictive locomotor activity within the isolated central nervous system of the fly (Dr. Stefan Pulver, University of St Andrews); studied peptidergic modulation of the lobster cardiac neuromuscular system (Dr. Patsy Dickinson, Bowdoin College)
