Research experience before PiN: Studying how the geometry of sensory and movement signal representation in a neuronal population helps to distinguish self-induced and external changes in the sensory environment during active sensing in the context of olfaction using mouse electrophysiology data in the lab of Dr. Giuliano Iurilli at IIT, Italy. Studying how neuronal population coding relates to the neurons' functions via Deep Generative Networks using closed-loop electrophysiology recording from NHP visual cortex in the lab of Dr. Carlos Ponce at Harvard Medical School.
Current research interests: System Neuroscience, Computational Neuroscience, Neuro AI, Behavioral Neuroscience
Interests outside lab: Hiking, traveling and exploring, museums, live music, poetry, watching and reading fantasy, podcasts, coffee, soccer
