In response to the USN call to action, the HMS Department of Neurobiology established the Departmental Committees on Diversity & Inclusion (DCDI) in July 2020, in coordination with USN and PiN, comprising outreach, inreach, education, and training subcommittees with the overarching goal of instituting concrete and permanent changes in the department that will increase diverse representation at all levels of training, elevate and support diverse voices within our community, and create platforms that cultivate a sense of belonging and inclusion among department members, one that promotes inclusive excellence and allows everyone to be successful and thrive.
