PiN strives to bring together a diverse community of students in a nurturing and inclusive environment and is fully committed to upholding the standards set forth in the Harvard Medical School Diversity Statement. We are continuously working to advance diversity and inclusion in our program and aim to develop a student body and faculty membership that reflect the populations we ultimately aim to serve through our scientific research. To that end, we have partnered with Underrepresented Scholars in Neuroscience, the Department of Neurobiology, and the Division of Medical Sciences to fortify our collective efforts to enact policy, develop programming, and create a culture that fully embodies our values of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Our students benefit from numerous affinity groups and support offices on campus, as well as the opportunity to participate in recruitment, outreach, and program development for underrepresented minorities in the biomedical sciences at different stages of the education pipeline.
