**Prior degree(s):** B.S. in Neuroscience, Georgia Tech

**Research experience before PiN:** Undergraduate research investigating visual feedback in hawkmoths (Sponberg Lab, Georgia Tech). Summer research studying cerebral cavernous malformations in chronic mouse models (Tvrdik Lab, UVA). Lab technician engineering tools for surveying the brain and behavior in mice (Markowitz Lab, Georgia Tech and Emory University).

**Current research interests:** neurodegenerative diseases, molecular and systems neuroscience

**Interests outside lab:** working out, dancing, hanging out with friends, tea
