Through that work and my own scholarship, current areas of focus include helping our educators and learners to responsibly leverage generative AI, empowering our community of scholars to engage in open inquiry and dialogue across differences, and supporting excellence within biomedicine through practices designed to broaden participation and foster inclusion in our graduate education community. I also work to build institutional capacity for evidence-based mentorship practices as a trained facilitator of the CIMER "Entering Mentoring" curriculum within the HMS Core for Mentorship Excellence. My current teaching portfolio spans neuroscience and learning/educational theory and practice. As core faculty within the HMS Master's of Medical Sciences in Medical Education Program I teach the "Theory and Science of Teaching and Learning" and the "Teaching Practicum" courses. I also teach within the Harvard PhD Program in Neuroscience and team teach an undergraduate neuroscience course at Spelman College.
