**Prior degree(s):** BA in Molecular and Cell Biology, UC Berkeley

**Research experience before PiN:** In Yvette Fisher's Lab at UC Berkeley, I studied neural circuit mechanisms underlying navigational processing in Drosophila. By mapping endogenous receptor localization and integrating these data with connectomic analyses, I investigated how glutamatergic recurrent connectivity can shape activity within the head-direction network.

**Current research interests:** Molecular mechanisms underlying behaviors.

**Interests outside lab:** piano, violin, Kpop
