**Prior degree(s):** B.S. in Neuroscience, Brandeis University

**Research experience before PiN:** GABAergic synapse development in the mammalian central nervous system (Paradis Lab, Brandeis University). Transcriptomic signatures of synapses at different activity-states (Schuman Lab, Max Planck Institute for Brain Research).

**Current research interests:** How genetic programs regulate neuronal development and central cognitive processes such as learning and memory

**Interests outside lab:** Gallivanting outdoors, exploring the local food scene, books and movies, learning world languages, music
