**Prior degree(s):** B.A. in Cell Biology and Neuroscience at Rutgers

**Research experience before PiN:** I did undergraduate research on validating neuropeptide biosensors and investigating GLP-1 action on hypothalamic neural circuits (Pang lab, Rutgers).

**Current research interests:** motivated behaviors, neuromodulatory transmission - from molecular mechanisms to neural circuit implementation

**Interests outside lab:** coffee, reading, gaming, sci-fi/fantasy, traveling
