**Research experience before PiN:** Dopamine and Repetitive Behavior in a mouse model for Autism with Hewlet McFarlane at Kenyon; cortical development, epigenetics and neuron-astrocycte crosstalk with Corey Harwell in HMS Neurobiology.  
  
**Current research interests:** Neuron-glia interaction in circuit assembly during development   
**Interests outside lab:** Surfing, all things DIY, 4c hair styling, cooking spicy food, learning new things, and adventuring
