**Prior degree(s):** B.S. in Molecular Biophysics/Biochemistry and Computer Science, Yale University

**Research experience before PiN:** Undergraduate research studying the origins of an illusory perceptual response in fruit flies (Damon Clark Lab, Yale University). Summer research investigating the spontaneous organization of dissociated neuronal cultures using a microelectrode array system (Michael Levin Lab, Tufts University).

**Current research interests:** Investigating how biological systems organize to support diverse computations. Specific interests include comp neuro, biophysics, development, and plasticity.

**Interests outside lab:** violin, board games, trying out new food, skiing/hiking
