**Research experience before PiN:** undergraduate researcher in both Dr. Carlos Portera-Cailliau’s and Dr. William Zeiger’s labs at UCLA, research assistant in Dr. Robert Darnell’s lab at the Rockefeller University

**Current research interests:** Molecular neuroscience, synaptic plasticity
