**Undergraduate/other degree(s):** MD; BS Biology - Neuroscience  
  
**Research experience before PiN:** Worked with rabies tracing and testing new opsins for optogenetics. Worked as a tech for a year before graduate school. **Current research interests:** Representation of homeostatic needs, how internal states affect the processing of sensory information
