**Prior degree(s):** B.S. in Math (University of Michigan)

**Research experience before PiN:**  I studied retinal prosthesis with Dr. Jiayi Zhang (Fudan University) and how the auditory midbrain encodes behaviorally relevant sounds with Dr. Pierre Apostolides (UMich).

**Current research interests:** ethological behaviors and underlying neural implementations, systems neuroscience, sensory processing.

**Interests outside lab:** cat sitting, cooking/baking, board games, running.
