**Research experience before PiN:** I studied navigation and Alzheimer's disease as a research assistant in the Wilber Lab at Florida State University. I researched glia, with a focus on the role of oligodendrocyte precursor cells in synaptic refinement, in the Cheadle lab as an Undergraduate Research Program (URP) intern at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory.   
**Current research interests:** I am interested in the role of glia in development and disease.  
**Interests outside lab / favorite hangouts:** I enjoy yoga, hiking, bike riding, and walking my dog.
