**Prior degree(s):** BA in Neuroscience & Dance, Bowdoin College, ME

**Research experience before PiN:** Characterized visceral mechanosensitive neurons innervating the mouse gastrointestinal tract (Dr. Rachel Wolfson, HMS); investigated fictive locomotor activity within the isolated central nervous system of the fly (Dr. Stefan Pulver, University of St Andrews); studied peptidergic modulation of the lobster cardiac neuromuscular system (Dr. Patsy Dickinson, Bowdoin College)

**Current research interests:** Brain-body interactions, interoception, sensory systems, neuromodulation
