**Prior degree(s):** B.A. in Biological Sciences, Computer Science, and Mathematics at Cornell University

**Research experience before PiN:** Cellular Neuroscience (Chun Han Lab, Cornell University); Mathematical biology (Saket Navlakha Lab, CSHL); Neuroethology (Vanessa Ruta Lab, Rockefeller University).

**Current research interests:** Information processing in biological systems. Particularly, the cellular and computational principles of neural circuit organization, development, and evolution.

**Interests outside lab:** hiking, reading, nature photography, climbing
