**Prior degree(s):** BA in Neuroscience & Behavior, Columbia University

**Research experience before PiN:** Characterized neural mechanisms in the brainstem that drive rhythmic licking behavior in rodents through functional manipulations and circuit mapping (Dr. Fan Wang, MIT); investigated the role of adrenal hormones in social monogamy and parental behavior in deer mice (Dr. Andrés Bendesky, Columbia)

**Current research interests:** brain-body interactions, neuroendocrinology, sensory systems
