**Research experience before PiN:** Undergraduate research dissecting the roles of VTA dopamine subpopulations in motivation and reward association (Zweifel lab). Post-graduation work investigating how endogenous opioid signaling modulates breathing (Baertsch lab, Seattle Children's Research Institute).

**Current research interests:** Systems and integrative neuroscience
