**For me, home is:** Los Angeles, CA

**Prior degree(s):** B.A. in Molecular and Cell Biology (Neurobiology), UC Berkeley

**Research experience before PiN:** I did undergraduate research in Prof. Hillel Adesnik’s lab at UC Berkeley studying the neural activity patterns that give rise to perception in the mouse primary visual cortex. After graduating, I joined Prof. Christopher Harvey’s lab at Harvard Medical School and studied how a specific subtype of somatostatin neuron functions as an “error-correction” signal in different regions of the mouse cortex.

**Current research interests:** neural circuits underlying complex behavior like learning, memory, and decision making (systems neuroscience)

**Interests outside lab:** trying new foods, cafe hopping, cats, playing piano, kpop
