**Prior degree(s):** BS in Bioengineering, Caltech; MD in progress, HMS

**Research experience before PiN:** developed genetically encodable ultrasound contrast agents for imaging cell therapies and in situ neural activity (Dr. Mikhail Shapiro, Caltech); investigated cerebrospinal fluid flow and brain tissue dynamics during sleep using ultrasound neuroimaging (Dr. Mickael Tanter, Physics for Medicine Institute Paris)

**Current research interests:** molecular neurotechnology development, brain states and plasticity

**Interests outside lab**: sports, painting, hiking, cooking, travel
